Description

A vine or climbing plant. The stems are fairly stout. The leaves are narrowly oblong and taper to the tips. They are 10-13 cm long by 1.3 cm wide. The male flowers are reddish and there are 3 flowers in the female spike. These are thickly fleshy and 5 cm long by 1.3 cm wide.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in the wet tropics.
