Description
A climbing vine or shrub. It has aerial roots. The leaves are long and sword shaped. They taper to the tip. They have a sheath at the base. The leaves have teeth or spines at the base. The leaves are 1 m long.
Edible Uses
The flowers are edible.

It is a tropical plant.
