Description
A tree. The leaves are alternate and finely pointed. The young branches and underneath or leaves are hairy. The flowers are white and 3 mm across. The fruit are yellow brown berries. They are hairy and 1 cm across. Possibly now Diospyros yandina Jessup.
Edible Uses
The fruit is edible.
Distribution
It is a subtropical plant.
