Description

A creeping shrub or small tree. It grows 1.5-7.5 m tall. The young branches are slender and pale brown. They can be hairy at first. The leaves are narrowly oval and 5-10 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. They can be rounded or heart shaped at the base. The flowers can occur singly or in groups of 2-4.

Edible Uses

The fruit is edible.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant.
