Description
A tree. It grows 9 m tall. The trunk is 30-50 cm across. The stems are densely branched. It has aerial prop roots. The leaves are 12-15 cm long. The leaf stalks are red. Flowers occur singly on the stems and are yellow with 4 fleshy lobes. The fruit are round and yellow and 3-4.5 cm across.
Edible Uses
Young leaves are eaten.

It is a tropical plant.
