Description

A shrub. The leaves are 5-17 cm long and 3-7 cm wide. The flowers occur singly and are 1.5 cm long. The fruit are 2 cm long. They contain 8-12 seeds.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in forest clearings.
