Description

A tree. It grows 7 m tall. The leaves are oval and 4-18 cm long by 5-13 cm wide. Flowers occur singly. They are 1.8-3.5 cm long. The fruit are small and round and have long projections on the surface. They are 4 cm across. The surface is yellow and velvety.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.
