Description
A small tree. It grows 4-7 m tall. The trunk is 20-40 cm across. The leaves are 8-15 cm long by 4-7 cm wide. The fruit are 3-5 cm across. They are yellow.
Edible Uses
We have no reports of edibility, but the yellow, subglobose to broadly ovoid fruit is 18 - 26mm long and 20 - 26mm in diameter, composed of 50 - 75 carpels with seeds around 7 - 8mm x 5 - 6mm x 2 - 4mm.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in rainforest.

Other Uses
The soft wood is used as a strop to sharpen razors.
