Description

A tree. It grows 10 m tall. Plants branch from 1 m and are spreading. The trunk is 45 cm across. The outer bark is rough. The leaves are mid green and more pale underneath. The flowers are cream coloured. The fruit can be white or red.

Edible Uses

The fruit are eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. In PNG it has been recorded on Manus Island.
