Description
A tree. The trunk has low concave buttresses. branches are low down. The leaves are narrowly oval and rounded at the base and tapering to the tip. The midrib is raised on the upper surface. The flowers are white and in panicles. The fruit are oval and pointed. They have wings that are twisted.
Edible Uses
The fruit is eaten as a vegetable.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in the rainforest.
