Ardisia willisii is a species of plant in the family Primulaceae. It is endemic to Sri Lanka.

Description

A shrub. It grows 4 m tall. The small branches are stout. The leaves are large and oval. They taper towards the base. The flowers are bright pink on stout stalks. They are in short panicles at the ends of branches.

Edible Uses

Fruit- edible; whole plant- medicinal; ornamental.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in coastal areas.
