Description

A tree. It can be 15-30 m tall. The trunk is 35-40 cm across. The leaves are simple and broad. They are 10-20 cm long by 6-9 cm wide. The fruit are oval and 4-4.5 cm long. The fruit has one seed.

Edible Uses

The fruit and latex are eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It suits wet rainforest.
