Description
A herb. The stems reach 60 cm tall. The leaves are broadly oval and pointed. The leaves are bright green and cupped and have shallow lobes. The leaves are 15 cm long by 12-20 cm wide. The flowers are pinkish white. They are on stalks 30 cm long.
Edible Uses
The leaf stalks are edible and are sold in markets.
Distribution
It is a subtropical plant. It is best in shade. They grow in cloud forest.
