Description
A tree. It grows 3 m tall. The leaves are a dull grey-green underneath. The fruit are yellow and 4.5 cm long by 4 cm wide. They have a white pulp and black seeds.

Medicinal Uses
A decoction of stem-bark and leaves, in combination with the leaves of Carica papaya, is used as a counterirritant against vasoconstriction that sometimes occurs during childbirth.
