Description

A herb. It grows 45-75 cm tall. The stems occur singly and have wings. They branch towards the top. The leaves are oval and 5-10 cm long by 3-7 cm wide. They have lobes along the stalk. There are several flowers near the top. They are yellow and purple.

Edible Uses

The flowers are eaten.

Distribution

It is a temperate plant. It grows in mountain grasslands between 1,900-2,900 m above sea level. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
