Description
A shrub. It grows 5 m tall. It has long spines. It can be creeping. The leaves are narrowly oval and 2-4 cm long by 1-3 cm wide. The flowers are in groups in the axils of leaves. They are green. The fruit are round and orange. It is 7 mm across.

Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in evergreen forests. It grows above 1,200 m above sea level. It occurs in the Western Ghats in India.
