Description

A bamboo. It grows 6-10 m tall. The culms are 1-4 cm wide. The internodes are yellow-green and 18-22 cm long. They are hollow. There are 3-7 leaves on the last branch. The leaf blades are 12-20 cm long by 1-2 cm wide.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in evergreen broad-leaved forests between 1,700-2,200 m above sea level.
