Description

A shrub or small tree. It grows 2-8 m tall. The leaves are opposite and narrowly oval. They are 6-20 cm long by 2-7 cm wide. The fruit is round with 2 or 3 lobes. They are 10-12 mm long. They are orange then red when ripe.

Edible Uses

The fruit and seeds are eaten, primarily by children.
