Description

A shrub or small tree. It grows 9 m tall. Young twigs have a yellow coating. The leaves are oblong and 5-10 cm long by 2-3 cm wide. The fruit are 3-5 mm long by 2-3 mm wide.

Edible Uses

The fruit are eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in deciduous forests between 800-1,200 m above sea level in southern China. In Yunnan.
