Description

A shrub or small tree of the Clusiaceae family found in humid and sub-humid tropical forests at elevations of 1,200–2,000 m, with edible fruit.

Edible Uses

Fruit. The entry was for S. Macrophylla, but I believe that to be a typographical error for this species.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in humid and sub-humid forests. It grows between 1,200-2,000 m above sea level.
