Description
A tree. It rows 20 m tall and the trunk is 32 cm across. The outer bark is greyish-brown and has deep cracks. These peel off in long plates. The fruit hang down. They are green and inside there are seeds covered in a sweet, orange pulp. This is edible.
Edible Uses
The sweet orange pulp surrounding the seeds inside the fruit is edible.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in the lowlands.
