Zanthoxylum myriacanthum (Chinese: 大叶臭花椒) is a woody plant from the family Rutaceae.

Description

A tropical tree in the Rutaceae family with hairy leaflets and flowers, native to forests in Yunnan at approximately 1,400 m elevation and sold in local markets.

Edible Uses

The leaves and fruit are cooked and eaten as a vegetable and flavouring. The fruit is used as a spice.
