Description

A tropical shrub in the Aristolochiaceae family that grows in rocky areas along the Mekong, tolerating both wet season inundation and dry season drought conditions.

Edible Uses

The flowers are eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in rocky areas along the Mekong. It can grow partially or fully under water in the wet season and then exposed to arid conditions in the dry season.
