A herb. It grows 60-100 cm tall. The roots are branched and the stem is purple. It is hollow and branched. The lower leaf stalks are 10 cm long. The leaves are divided 3 or 4 times. The end segments are narrow and 5-30 mm long by 1-3 mm wide.
Edible Uses
The leaves are used as a flavouring.
Medicinal Uses
Traditionally used for memory loss and has anti-viral properties.
Distribution
