Description
A small shrub. It can grow attached to other plants. It grows 15-40 cm tall. The branches can hang down. The twigs have ribs along them. The leaves are oval to round and 9-15 mm long by 8-20 mm wide. There are 1 or 2 flowers in the axils of leaves. The fruit is a round succulent berry 1 cm across. It is whitish with a purple tinge and lets light through.
Edible Uses
The fruit is edible.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in the rainforest between 200-1,800 m or higher above sea level.
