Description

A shrub. It grows about 2 m tall. The branches are pale. The leaves are opposite and narrowly oval and taper to both ends. They are 4-12 cm long by 2-6 cm wide. The flowers are 3-4 cm long and crowded in dense clusters near the ends of branches. The fruit is shiny and 6-8 mm across.

Edible Uses

The fruit are edible.
