Propagation
Seed - best sown as soon as it is ripe in a lightly shaded position in a nursery seedbed. A low germination rate can usually be expected, with the seed sprouting within 42 - 56 days. Cuttings of short-jointed, semi-ripe, non-flowering wood. Pot each cutting up singly and keep in a humid, shaded position at around 25°c until rooted. Air layering
Other Uses
The wood is fine and uniform-textured, straight-grained, heavy, hard, flexible, with moderate mechanical properties and moderately durable if protected from the weather.
