Description

A tropical shrub and woody climber (family Connaraceae) that can grow up to 20 m tall. It is found in savannah woodland, near rivers, and in palm groves across Nigeria at elevations between 230 and 1,440 m.

Edible Uses

Used as a vegetable.

Caution advised; possibly medicinal properties recorded but require verification.
