Description

A bamboo. The culms are 10-20 m tall. They are 4-10 cm wide. The internodes are 67 cm long. There are 6-9 leaves on the last branch. The leaf blade is 20-30 cm long by 3-4 cm wide.

The shoots are cooked and eaten as a vegetable, or dried and preserved for later use.
