Description
A bamboo. It grows 3-5 m high. The culms are 1-2.5 cm across. The internodes are 28-35 cm long. There are 5-11 branches at each node. There are 3-10 leaves on the last branch. The leaf blades are 9-19 cm long by 1-2 cm wide.
Edible Uses
The shoots are eaten.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in Yunnan in China between 1,200-2,500 m altitude.
