Description
A herb. It lives for a year or two. It grows 1.5 m tall. They have soft hairs. The leaves are simple and entire and 7-40 cm long. A few flowers grow in the axils of the leaves. The fruit is oval and shiny. It is red and juicy. The seeds are 1.7 mm across.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in gaps in the forest and near rocky creek banks. It grows between sea level and 2,000 m altitude in Taiwan. In Sichuan and Yunnan.
