Description

A tree. It grows 30 m high. The trunk is 30-60 cm across. There are buttresses at the base. The bark is light brown and cracked. The leaves are alternate and once divided. The leaves are narrowly oval and 7-14 cm long by 3-6 cm wide. The leaflets are opposite. The flower panicles are in the axils of leaves near the ends of the branches. They are 25 cm long. The fruit is a narrowly oval berry. It is 2.4 cm long by 1.2 cm wide. It has a grey then yellow coating. The pulp is white. There is one seed. It is narrowly oval and 6 mm long by 2 mm wide.
