Description

A climber. It grows to 5 m tall. The leaves are broad and deep green. They are 4-9 cm long. The flowers are in dense clusters. There can be 20 flowers in a cluster. The flowers are orange when they open but then become red. They are shaped like bells. The fruit are small dry capsules.

Edible Uses

The fruit are edible.

Distribution

It grows in SW Western Australia. It grows in rocky areas along streams. It needs well drained soil and drier areas. It can stand light frost.
