Description
A shrub or small tree. It can have small spines. The young branches have a downy covering. The leaves are alternate or in clusters on small shoots less than 6 cm long. The leaves are sword shaped and 2-5 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. The flowers are of one sex. The petals are very small. The fruit are 4-5 mm long and light brown. They have 3-4 grooves. There are 2-4 seeds.
