Alangium longiflorum is a tree in the dogwood family Cornaceae. The specific epithet longiflorum is from the Latin meaning "long flowers".

Description

A tree. It grows 20 m tall. The trunk is 25 cm across. The bark is smooth and dark brown. The leaves are broadly oval with a narrow base. The flowers are white and 3-5 cm long. The fruit is narrowly oval and 20-25 cm long.

Edible Uses

The fruit are eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows up to 1,200 m above sea level.
