Description
A tropical tree in the Malvaceae family growing 10–20 m tall, found in Fiji between 100–850 m altitude in dense, dry, and open forests. It produces large fruiting clusters up to 50 cm across.
Edible Uses
The seeds are edible.

There are about 8-10 Firmiana species. Also put in the family Sterculiaceae.
