Description

Setaria pycnocoma is a temperate grass species in the Poaceae family, one of approximately 130 Setaria species found mainly in tropical and subtropical regions.

Edible Uses

The seeds are harvested and used as a cereal grain.

Distribution

It is a temperate plant.

Where It Grows

Asia, Japan,

Notes

There are about 130 Setaria species. They are mainly in the tropics and subtropics.
