Description

A tropical tree in the Myrtaceae family, native to South America. Eugenia eggersii is one of approximately 550 species in the genus, mostly found in tropical and subtropical regions of South America.

Edible Uses

The fruit is eaten.

Distribution

A tropical plant.

Where It Grows

Puerto Rico, West Indies,
