Description

A shrub or small tree. It grows 4-6 m tall. The bark is smooth and light grey. The leaf stalks are 1.5 cm long. The leaves are oval and 8-13 cm long by 3-7 cm wide. They are pointed at the end.

Edible Uses

The leaves are eaten as a vegetable.

Distribution

A tropical plant. It grows in secondary forest.
