Description

A shrub or small tree. It grows 1-4 m tall. The branches are slender and smooth. The leaf stalks are 10-12 cm long. They are woody. The leaves are compound with 4 pairs of leaflets spaced 5-8 cm apart. They are oblong and 13-15 cm long by 5-8 cm wide. They taper at the tip. The flowers are in long stalked groups 15-30 cm long. The flowers are in clusters or 5-6. The flowers are greenish-white. The fruit are orange.

Edible Uses

The orange fruit is eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant.
