Source: WikipediaFicus simplicissima, sometimes known as its synonym Ficus hirta, is a species of fig trees in the family Moraceae. This fig tree is similar to Ficus triloba. Its native range Assam, Bangladesh, Cambodia, South-Central and Southeast China, East Himalaya, Hainan, India, Java, Laos, Malaysia, Myanmar, Nepal, Sumatra, Thailand, and Vietnam.
Description
A shrub. It grows 1-2.5 m tall. The leaves are divided like fingers on a hand. The leaves are 5-16 cm long. There can be shallow teeth along the edge. The figs are clustered on older leaflet branches.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant.
