Description

A tree. It grows 48 m tall. The trunk is 80 cm across. The leaves are alternate and simple. The flowers are 2 mm across and yellow but turn pink to red. The fruit are 35 mm long. They are green and fleshy.

Edible Uses

The fruit is edible.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It can grow in swamp forests up to 100 m above sea level.
