A woody climber. It can grow 10 m long. It has hooks. The leaves are 17 cm long by 10 cm wide. There are many flowers in a group. The fruit are in clusters about 9.5 cm across. The fruit are spindle shaped and 15 mm long by 5 mm wide. The fruit open along a crack.
Medicinal Uses
Used medicinally.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. In NE Queensland it grows between 70-500 m above sea level.
