Description
A sedge. It keeps growing from year to year. It has a creeping rhizome or underground stem. The shoots are 12-40 cm tall. The leaves are 5-20 mm long by 2-4 mm wide. The flowering shoot has a single spike that is oval.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows in wet places.
