Sternbergia clusiana is a bulbous flowering plant in the family Amaryllidaceae, subfamily Amaryllidoideae, which is sometimes used as an ornamental plant. It has greenish-yellow flowers which appear in autumn.

Description

A flowering plant with a bulb. The bulbs are 20-30 cm deep in the soil. It grows 10-20 cm tall and can be taller. The leaves are grey-green and 8-16 mm wide. They develop in a ring. The flowers are greenish-yellow.

Distribution

It is a warm temperate plant. It suits USDA hardiness zones 9-11.
