Description

A succulent herb. It lies along the ground. The stems are creeping and red. They form roots at the nodes. The leaves are narrow and fleshy and 5 cm long. The flowers are cylinder shaped and 2 cm long. The flowers are silvery white and in clusters.

Edible Uses

The leaves are edible.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows along the coast.
