Description

An orchid. It is a herb that grows in soil. It grows 1 m tall. The leafy stems have 6-11 leaves. The lowest 2 sheath the stem. The largest leaves are 7-22 cm long by 1-2 cm wide. The flowering shoots are 5-25 cm long by 2-3.5 cm wide. There can be many flowers in a dens group. The flowers are green. The tubers are 1-2.5 cm long. They are oval.

Edible Uses

The tubers and roots are edible.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant.
