Diploclisia glaucescens is a species of flowering plant. It is an extensively spreading climber found in South Asia, Southeast Asia, China, Indonesia and the Philippines.

Description

A climber. It is a woody vine. It grows 20 m long. The stems are 10 cm across. The leaves are broadly oval and 6-11 cm long and wide. The flowering shoots are 10-30 cm long. The flowers are light yellow. The fruit are yellowish-red. They are oblong and 1.3-2 cm long.

Edible Uses

The fruit are eaten.

Distribution

It is a tropical plant. It grows in evergreen forests up to 1,200 m above sea level in Thailand.
