Description
A shrub. It grows 2-3 m tall. The leaves can be hairy. The leaves are 6-22 cm long by 4-15 cm wide. The base is heart shaped and has lobes. There are 30-40 flowers in a group 20 cm long. The stalk is 7-13 cm long. The fruit are narrowly oval and 2 cm long by 1 cm wide.
Edible Uses
The fruit is eaten.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant. It grows between 950-2,000 m above sea level.
