Description
A climbing herb or vine. It has simple tendrils opposite to the leaves. The leaves are simple or lobed can have 3 leaflets. and can have teeth along the edge. The flowers are in hanging groups opposite the leaves. The fruit are fleshy berries.
Edible Uses
The tuber and roots are eaten.
Distribution
It is a tropical plant.
